The Impacts of COVID-19

We’re navigating an unprecedented time right now, and these last months and weeks have been some of the hardest we’ve all been through. We value you as our friends, neighbors and supporters and wanted to provide you with an update on how we are responding to the COVID-19 virus and all of the changes it has brought to our lives and our work.

We’d like to reassure everyone that we’ve already taken many precautionary measures to ensure the safety and health of our employees, customers, suppliers, and partners. We are updating as we go and continuing to respond and change with each new piece of information we receive.

As you may have seen, we’ve closed our tasting room. We’re sad not to be able to host you for the time being, but we look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we are able.

Finally, we also wanted to let you know why we aren’t producing hand sanitizer like many of our distilling colleagues. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to produce hand sanitizer with our existing equipment and materials. The good news is, our Hood River Distillers family is producing it, in a big way, out of their facilities in Oregon. They are producing thousands of gallons to support those on the medical and food service front lines.

We know you’re all facing a lot in your lives too. We’re so grateful for your support during this time, and we’ll continue to share updates with you as we go. Please stay home and stay safe, and we hope Big Gin provides you with a moment of joy or relaxation at the end of these long days.
